Aerial · Nashville, Tennessee

Shot from my own drone.

Rooftops, pools, turf, lots and buildings, over Nashville. There is real footage on the home page, and it is of properties I manage myself.

What it is for

Some businesses are impossible to photograph from the ground. A rooftop deck, a pool, a yard, an acreage, a warehouse lot, a building whose whole appeal is where it sits. From eye level you get a wall. From forty feet you get the reason somebody would book it, rent it or drive to it.

Most of my aerial work so far has been short-term rentals, because that is the business I run. A rooftop hot tub photographed from above is the shot that gets the booking, and it is the shot the listing platforms almost never have.

What you get back

  • Stills, graded and delivered at full resolution
  • Video, cut and colour-corrected, in whatever aspect you need it
  • Web-encoded versions if the footage is going on a site, which is a different encode to the one you would upload to social
  • Files you own outright

It works best next to a website

A site is only as good as the photography in it. The three sites in the collection all live or die on their imagery, and the aerial section on the home page of this site is a real clip scrubbing under your scroll rather than a still. If you are having a site built, shooting the property at the same time is cheaper than doing it twice and the two jobs inform each other.

What it costs

Quoted per shoot, because it depends on the location, how far it is, how much airtime it needs and what you want delivered. Tell me the address and what the footage is for and I will give you a number.

Airspace matters in Nashville. Parts of the city sit under controlled airspace near BNA, and a shoot there needs authorization before it can legally happen. If your location is affected I will tell you that up front rather than after taking a deposit.
